Very pleased with my original coffee can banjo, I built another as a raffle prize for Breast in Show 8.
The neck is a four-piece maple leftover from a bass I built but have not yet added to this site.
Iām really happy with the front and back veneer and the little rounded-over points on the head.
The fretboard is katalox. I finally built a radiusing sled so I can round these over reasonably accurately. The nut is aluminum.
The tailpiece is katalox too, tied on with a kevlar cord.
I have no idea who won it, which is terribly exciting.
