My house came with this really ugly plastic faux-wood trim around a lot of the windows.
When my wife and I traded offices, we painted hers, and I took the opportunity to pull out the old trim and replace it with some oak.
I wish I had a “before” picture; this is really a huge improvement.
Looking forward to doing the rest of the over time.
