I bought a projector years ago, and we always had a white wall to point it at. And then we got this house with zero white walls, so I said: Iām making us a proper theater with a big gaudy gold-framed screen and big floor speakers.
The screen is this super-overbuilt structure of 1Ć3"s, about 7' x 4', I think it works out to be about 100" diagonally.
The frame is the biggest cheapest crown molding I could get from Home Depot. Painted gold.
The speakers were like, $40 on Facebook Marketplace from some guy out in the suburbs who had a garage full of speakers. Hm.
