My wife’s boss gave her some cookies for Christmas. They came in a tin, so I made a banjo.
It’s super hacked together out of leftover walnut and maple. No finish, barely sanded, I really just wanted to see if it’d work.
I did spend some time on the fifth string tuner transition. I think most banjos do a real clumsy job of this.
I have no idea how to play the five-string banjo.
